I Would Describe Myself As

As with many Americans, it's tough to fit into a stereotype. Not much in my life has turned out to be what I expected! Maybe this is just a sign of the times?

About me: I am happy in less-than-perfect situations. I enjoy people and activity, but need downtime too. More of a night person. Personality type" is "Explorer" and then "Negotiator" and ENTP/ENFP. I like to have some structure in my life. If there's a better way of doing something, I usually go for it! Enjoy Music, Art, Technology, Photography and Design. ... Dress for the occasion... view money more in terms of what it enables me to DO rather than HAVE. With politics, tend to be more progressive but it depends on the issue.

Going out for dinner and a movie is usually relaxing. Also enjoy Art Galleries, Music Festivals, and the Zoo could be my second home. Also, for a quiet, low-key, stay-at-home evening, I love to cook and try new dishes.

In hot summer months, I enjoy swimming, walking, have water-skiied, and like to canoe. Love (outdoor) plants - landscaping. Not crazy about golf or bowling or spending alot of time "spectating". Down-hill skiing is an old passion ... play piano occasionally and sing (somewhat badly) - for my own enjoyment. Love spending time with my two-year-old parrot. (He talks and says he loves me often.)

My life is good, but I would prefer to be sharing it more with people I enjoy ... If you are even-tempered, kind, flexible, supportive, and affectionate - - then a good sense of humor, playfulness, spirit of adventure, and openness are icing on the cake. Given mutual attraction and shared interests, we might enjoy each other's company!
