I am active in my church, a democrat, love quilting, helping others. I am a compassionate, caring person. Very centered and down to earth. Was married a long time ago, but have been alone a lot longer. Five grown children, seven grandsons, one granddaughter. They too are grown and all but one in college or grad-school. I brag on them a lot, and for good reason. I am in good health but have some health issues.
I love to cruise and have been to many countries. Attended college. Like theater, movies, art shows and museums. I am always "reading" a wide variety of books, from mysteries, to historical. My favorite was "Team of Rivals", but I just finished two really good books this week. One by Kristin Hannah, "Home Front", and the other was "House Rules" by Picoult. They both really touched me and gave me deep insight into new situations. Enough!
