I wouldn't call it a date, but I think a meeting for a cup of tea or coffee in an open place just to get to see the person and get an idea if there would be any reason to really have a first date. If that little connection is there then maybe go to a play or dinner or a movie, even a walk along the beach would be great. I don't think a man should have to spend a lot of money on a first date, you are trying to get to know the person, not showing her how much money you have or don't have by taking her to expensive places right away. That can come later, that is if you have the money and if she is worth it. Which I think I am of course. Just kidding!!!

I can usually tell right away if there is a connection for me with the other person. I don't think there is just one thing. First, he has to be a clean person, bodly and dress. I do like a person who is honest, has a sense of humor, kind, thoughful, thinks of me, not himself first. Of course there has to be the connection of what the eye sees also. If the person is not pleasing to the eye, then maybe nothing else matters. Lets face it, don't we look at the picture first to see if the face pleases you? If it doesn't then we go on to another woman or mans profile. How many do we pass up because there is no picture.
