After finally retiring from nursing, I’m ready to spend more time with healthy people, including myself, and enjoy “the last of life for which the first was made”. I’ve been widowed twice, the first after 20 years of marriage due to an accidental fall and the second one, after dix yesrs, to cancer. I loved being a wife and having a best friend to partner with in life but not sure I could endure that kind of loss again. I really miss having someone to care about me but moreso, I miss having someone for me to care about. i still enjoy my alone time though and an open to whatever plans God has for the rest of my life.
